Finally, after more than a week of computer-related problems that were rectified thanks to my friend Steve, our computer wiz, I'm baaack!(Hopefully, Maria's computer, which is also under the weather, will recover soon...)In Montreal, this past week was dedicated to "Poutine", a very common Canadian dish that is said to have originated in Warwick, Quebec, in 1957, by Ferdinand Lachance. Lachance is said to have exclaimed "ca va faire une maudite poutine" (it will make a damn mess), when asked to put a handful of cheese curds on some french fries, hence the name.
