Today we have some pictures from a day spent in the Old Port of Montreal, along with a dessert recipe, traditionally made in the Canadian province of Quebec, or as they call it here "La Belle Province".The Old Port is located in Old Montreal and stretches for over 2 kms along the St. Lawrence river.Starting around 1611, French fur traders used it as a trading post.The Old Bonsecours Market and the Old Clock Tower are two trademarks of the port.
